International Relations Program & The Attache Journal of International Affairs Launch
First Year Elections and Fall General Meeting

Launch: Join us on September 25th to kick off the launch of the International Relations and Program for the 2014-15 Academic year. We welcome all new, prospective, and returning IR students to come and learn about opportunities available to them this year, meet their peers and hear from the IR society and IR program. Various IR related clubs will also be present so that you may learn about all the opportunities available to you in the stream of International Relations at UofT. At this event the launch of the newly revamped Attache Journal of International Affairs will take place, come early to get your free copy of the journal.
Elections: The IRSociety has election-based positions for two first year representatives to join the executive for the upcoming school year! If you are interested in joining the executive, you must email email@example.com by September 24th a 150 to 200 word description of activities that make you qualified for the position, why you have chosen the IRSociety as a club to be involved in, and what you hope to bring to the position. Please note that this statement is not an application to the position, only a declaration of your candidacy. All first year students in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences are eligible to run, and all students in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences are eligible to vote. On September 25, please show up with your friends and you will have the opportunity to deliver a 1.5 minute speech. All candidates will be put to a vote by the general membership.
Please note that two junior editors will be elected for The Attaché Journal of International Affairs after the first year heads elections. No application for this role is necessary.
